بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم
Umrah (Tawaaful-Qudoom)
Proceed to appropriate Meeqaat. On entering state of Ihram recite –
لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ بِعُمْرَة
LabbaikAllahumma bi-`umrah
Here I am O Allah, (in response to Your call) making ‘Umrah.
In fear of not completing the ‘Umrah, recite –
اللَّهُمَّ مَحِلِّيْ حَيْثُ حَبَسْتَنِي
Allahumma mahillee haithu habastanee
O Allah, [If I am prevented by an obstacle then indeed]
my place is where You prevent me.
After taking these steps it is prohibited for the pilgrims to wear sewn clothes, remove or pluck hairs, clip nails, cover their heads, use perfume, have sexual intercourse, hunt, enter into marriage contracts, or cut the trees of the Sacred Precinct
Then loudly recite the talbiyah –
لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْك، لَبَّيْكَ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْك،
إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَ النِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَ الْمُلْكُ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَك
“Labbayk Allahumma Labbayk, Labbayk la sharika laka Labbayk, Innalhamda wanni‘mata laka walmulk La sharika lak”
Here I am O Allah, (in response to Your call), here I am. Here I am,You have no partner, here I am. Indeed all the Praise, Grace and Sovereignty belong to You. You have no partner.
But woman should let her voice audible only to herself
